Wood Care Group in England is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to maintain high cleaning standards in a busy care home, ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

You will join a friendly team, attend staff meetings, and benefit from excellent training, uniform provision, free onsite parking and access to wellbeing and employee assistance programs. Flexibility to shifts and effective communication are essential to support residents and staff.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working in a busy housekeeping environment.
• A committed and organised approach.
• A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Attend staff meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development to meet changing needs of the home and participate in training.
• Understand safeguarding responsibilities and ensure adults are safeguarded.
• Provide evidence of any untaken training.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.

About You

Other Duties

• To Attend Staff Meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs, demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
• Employee's need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop their understand and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Employee's need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered too at all time.
• Provide evidence of any untaken training.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
• Complete all training as determined by the home.
