Job summary

Kingdom Cleaning is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team in Canary Wharf, E14. You will work on a 40-hour weekly contract with night shifts starting from 21:00, on-site at the client site, delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include cleaning all areas, maintaining hygiene, restocking supplies, and working safely within venue guidelines. We offer a contributory pension, training and progression opportunities, overtime, and access to our employee app and support services.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning to high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• DBS confirmed if successful (Child version).

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas within the contract and maintain hygiene.
• Ensure safety standards and a tidy working environment.
• Clean desks, chairs, floors, surfaces, and glass.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• Restroom and kitchen areas cleaned and stocked.
• Wipe tables and break room areas as required.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Housekeeper to work for our prestigious client based in Canary Wharf, E14 area.

Hours:

On average 40 hours per week as per site rota. Shift times start from 21:00 Night shifts available.

Pay rate:

£15.43 per hour

Responsibilities

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added.

• The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.


• Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.


• Clean and sanitize desks, chairs, and office equipment, ensuring that all workspaces are hygienic and tidy.


• Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors (sweeping and mopping).


• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, windowsills, countertops, and shelves.


• Empty waste bins, recycling bins, and dispose of rubbish appropriately.


• Clean internal glass windows and doors.


• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and countertops.


• Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and hand towels as needed.


• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances and sinks.


• Wipe down tables, countertops, and chairs in break rooms or common areas.
