Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across a large client site in Glasgow. The role runs Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 21:00, with a 40-hour work week, 20 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and a uniform provided.

As part of a busy team, you’ll deliver high standards of cleanliness across meeting rooms, restrooms, food outlets and common areas, while complying with safety procedures and supporting ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated, committed, and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment across the client site, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, consumables, and materials, reporting any defects or repairs required to the management team.
• Ensure all chemicals and cleaning solutions are used correctly and in line with company and manufacturer operating procedures.
• Comply with the client's fire, health and safety, and security procedures at all times.
• Carry out deep cleans, specialist cleans, and periodic cleaning tasks as required.
• Ensure waste is disposed of in the correct receptacles and in accordance with site procedures.
• Support ad hoc projects to meet business needs and undertake any additional duties requested by your Line Manager.

Overview

This is a large site with high standards, and as a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain them. From meeting rooms and restrooms to food outlets and shared spaces, you'll work across a wide range of areas Monday to Friday, ensuring they are kept clean, safe, and welcoming.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in delivering a consistently high standard of cleanliness.

The Role
