Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a housekeeper for a fixed term contract (3 months) on a night shift (Mon-Thu, 20:30-07:00) at a client site in the United Kingdom. The role offers 40 hours per week, a holiday allowance of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays, and benefits including free onsite gym membership and uniform provided.

You will be responsible for delivering a clean, tidy office space, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or cleaning roles is beneficial.
• Able to work Monday to Thursday night shift.
• Good communication with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy office spaces to high standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs to management.
• Follow safety, fire, health and cleaning procedures.
• Perform deep cleans, specialist cleans and periodic cleans as required.
• Handle waste disposal in correct receptacles.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by Line Manager.

Overview

This is a big site with high standards - and as a housekeeper, you’ll help keep it that way.

From meeting rooms to restrooms, food outlets to shared spaces, you’ll cover a wide range of areas Monday to Friday with care and consistency.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys being active, works well in a team, and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment every day.

The Role

• Responsible for delivering a clean, tidy office space to our client site ensuring best practice at all times
• Responsible for the cleaning equipment, consumables and materials and reporting of any repairs required to the management team
• Ensure that all chemical and cleaning solutions are used correctly in line with company/manufacturer’s operating procedures
• To be aware of Clients’ Fire, Health and Safety and Security Procedures
• Responsible for carrying out deep cleans, specialist cleans and periodic cleans
• Ensure the disposal of waste in the correct receptacles
• Ad hoc projects to meet with the demands of the business and undertake any additional duties requested of you by your Line Manager
