Job summary

ISS is seeking a Cleaner for a rural Cheshire campus, working Mon-Fri 14:30-23:30. The role involves cleaning offices, communal areas and facilities to a high standard, with deep cleans and ad hoc projects as needed.

A full driving licence and reliable transport are essential due to the remote location. You will work both independently and as part of a team, following safety procedures and maintaining a polite, professional approach with all site users.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• The ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible and positive approach, with the willingness to support colleagues and provide cover where required.
• The ability to work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels.
• Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with all site users in a polite, professional and efficient manner.

• Good attention to detail and pride in delivering a high standard of cleanliness.
• A reliable and committed approach to attendance and timekeeping.
• A full driving licence and access to reliable transport, due to the rural location of the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming environment across the client site, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.
• Clean offices, communal areas and other designated facilities as required.
• Take responsibility for cleaning equipment, consumables and materials, reporting any damage, faults or repairs required to the management team.
• Use all chemicals and cleaning solutions safely and correctly, in line with company and manufacturer operating procedures.
• Follow the client's Fire, Health & Safety and Security procedures at all times.
• Carry out deep cleans, specialist cleans and periodic cleaning duties as required.
• Ensure waste is collected and disposed of correctly using the appropriate receptacles.
• Support with ad hoc cleaning projects in response to the needs of the business.
• Undertake any additional reasonable duties requested by your Line Manager.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality service across the site.
