N.E. Recruitment is looking for Housekeepers for a prestigious coastal hotel in Devon. The role offers £13.00 per hour (21+), immediate start, and live-in accommodation if required. Flexible part-time hours may be available, with meals on duty and on-site parking.

Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is desirable; full training is provided. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be ready to join the housekeeping team in a coastal setting.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness in bedrooms, public areas, corridors and back-of-house areas.
• Make up beds, clean and set up sitting rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms promptly to the hotel's standards.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• Check linen supply levels and return damaged linen to the linen room.
• Ensure all public areas are maintained and checked regularly.
• Carry out spring cleaning of rooms as scheduled by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Log and return lost property to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Hand over un-serviced rooms and any special requests for the following day to the Housekeeping Manager.

Full training can be provided for the housekeeping roles.

Cleaning and hospitality experience is desirable, such as ideally from within a hotel, holiday-let or similar environment as a Housekeeper, Housekeeping Assistant, Room Attendant, Housekeeping Attendant.

About the role:

As a Housekeeper you are responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in bedrooms, public areas, corridors and back of house housekeeping areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be working as part of the housekeeping team to ensure standards are maintained.
• You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all bedrooms, public areas, corridors and back of house housekeeping areas.
• Make up beds, clean and set up sitting room, bedroom and bathroom promptly, in accordance with the hotels standards.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• To check standard of linen supply to guest rooms and return any damaged linen to the linen room.
• Ensure all public areas are maintained and checked regularly.
• Vacuuming corridor, clean tables, fire doors, skirting boards and window sills.
• To carry out spring cleaning of rooms as scheduled by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Return and log all lost property found to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Hand over list of un-serviced rooms and any special requests for the following day to the Housekeeping Manager.
