Job summary

The Beach House, part of Hall & Woodhouse, near Lymington on the seafront, is recruiting experienced housekeepers for full or part-time shifts. You will care for guest rooms and facilities, delivering a high standard of cleanliness in a welcoming environment.

Starting pay is up to £13.11 per hour, with a raise to £13.45 after six months, plus a share of tips. Benefits include meals on duty (60% off) and joining a friendly, award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial housekeeping is essential.
• Well presented and approachable with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Take care of guest rooms and facilities to a high standard.

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of destination pubs and inns, the Grade II listed Beach House near Lymington was built in 1897 for Alexander Siemens (who created the world’s first public electricity supply at Godalming) as a summer house for his family. Formerly known as Westover Hall, Hall & Woodhouse renamed it ‘The Beach House’ in 2012. Built in the Arts and Crafts style it was once judged the most luxurious residence on England’s south coast. With fantastic raised patio areas and extensive gardens the pub also boasts over 200 outside covers and affords great views across to the Isle of Wight.

We have vacancies for either full or part time experienced housekeepers to take great care of our guest rooms and facilities.
