Job summary

Barend Holiday Lodges is seeking a Housekeeper to keep our family-run holiday lodges and facilities in top condition. Duties include cleaning self-catering lodges between guests, maintaining communal areas, and following our cleaning procedures with the supplied equipment.

You will join a friendly team with a focus on guest satisfaction. A daytime schedule from 9:30am to 3:30pm is typical, and full training will be provided.

Join our friendly, award-winning team at Barend Holiday Lodges! Barend Holiday Lodges is a small, family-run holiday business set in a beautiful location near Dalbeattie. We manage, clean and advertise over 30 holiday lodges.

The Role

As a Housekeeper, you will help keep our holiday lodges and facilities looking their very best. Your responsibilities will include:

• Thoroughly cleaning and preparing self-catering holiday lodges between guests
• Cleaning communal areas and other facilities around the site
• Following our cleaning procedures and using the equipment and products provided
• Ensuring every property is presented to a consistently high standard
• Paying close attention to detail and taking pride in your work
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

A typical working day is approximately 9.30am–3.30pm, making this a great opportunity for people looking for daytime hours.

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t necessarily need previous professional cleaning experience — full training will be provided. However, previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be an advantage.
