ExtraCare Charitable Trust is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at Humber Court Retirement Scheme. • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and Health & Safety procedures.
• Good physical fitness required for lifting and standing.

• Perform spring cleaning of resident apartments.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning materials.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our friendly team at our Humber Court Scheme and support the Scheme’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “ better lives for older people ”.

• Salary: £12.00 per hour, (£7,508pa, pro rata of FTE)
• Contract: Permanent - Part Time
• Location: Humber Court Retirement Scheme, Coventry, CV3 4FE

As a Housekeeper, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Spring (sparkle) cleaning of resident apartments
• Policies and Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Using cleaning machinery (e.g., industrial vacuum cleaners and floor cleaning equipment)
• Flexible, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
• Being on your feet for long periods of time
• Attimes lifting loads of up to 25 pounds
• You will also be required to undertake control of the stock of cleaning materials and ensure they are kept in locked cupboards, ordering of supplies and maintaining stock levels will also be required.
• Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office would prove advantageous
