The Greyhound Pub & Hotel in Carshalton is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our team. You will help keep guest areas spotless, manage linen and supplies, and support daily housekeeping tasks with a focus on high standards.

You’ll be part of a welcoming team, with training provided and opportunities to grow within our caring hospitality environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks to the highest standard.

The Greyhound Pub & Hotel has stood overlooking the beautiful Carshalton Ponds since the 1700s. With our pond view Swan Dining Room, dog-friendly bar area and a lively garden space featuring heated huts, The Greyhound is the ideal place to enjoy drinks, a delicious Sunday roast or even just a cup of coffee with your family and friends.
Our hotel has 19 classic rooms and 2 stunning boutique rooms which have a beautiful view of the ponds. We have on-site parking and Carshalton train station is only a 7-minute walk with direct trains to London Victoria every 30 minutes, making The Greyhound perfect for your next business trip or weekend break.

What we look for in a Housekeeper:

As the successful Housekeeper, you will have a passion to deliver exceptional customer service every time, with a friendly outgoing personality and desire to work as part of a team. You will have very high standards and an impeccable eye for detail. Our Housekeepers play an important role in the maintenance of our equipment, management of our linen and guest supplies and ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks and projects are delivered on time and to highest standard. You'll get lots of training and have a good time along the way.
