Job summary

The Wellington Hotel in Boscastle, a historic coaching inn, is seeking a Housekeeper to join our close-knit team. You will welcome guests warmly and ensure rooms are spotless and welcoming throughout their stay.

No previous experience is required; we will support you to learn. We offer flexible working, in-house training, meals provided for longer shifts, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• No prior housekeeping experience required; training provided.
• Ability to welcome guests warmly and maintain tidy rooms.
• Willingness to learn and follow brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms and public areas clean and orderly.
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with training and contribute to a smooth front-of-house operation.

The Wellington Hotel dates back to the 16th century and lies within the picturesque coastal village of Boscastle. This historic family-friendly destination is one of the oldest coaching inns in Cornwall and boasts a popular pub, restaurant, and overnight accommodation.

Boscastle is set along the county's dramatic north coast, with spectacular walking trails and golden beaches on its doorstep. It's a go-to for locals and visitors alike.

We're looking for a Housekeeper to join our close-knit team. You'll provide a warm welcome to guests, making them feel at home throughout their stay, while keeping our rooms looking spick and span. If you haven't done this kind of work before, we'll support you to learn.
