Job Title: Housekeeper - Older Adults Ward

We are seeking a friendly, positive, organized, and motivated individual to join us as a Housekeeper within the older adults ward at the Harbour, Blackpool.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintaining the individuality of service users by supporting tasks as directed by the Nursing Team.
2. Ensure an adequate supply of flat linen, curtains, and maintain cleanliness of these items.
3. Monitor the environment to ensure it meets safety and cleanliness standards, complying with environmental audit requirements.
4. Oversee food and diet provisions for service users.
5. Coordinate with contractors and support service departments to maintain ward facilities.
6. Support ward managers in the smooth running of the unit, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
7. Work closely with Estates & Facilities departments to monitor quality standards and address deficiencies, escalating issues as necessary.
