Job summary

Serco Group Plc is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to support the Bisham Abbey team. You will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and the local community, handling cleaning duties across sports, conference, accommodation, and communal areas.

The role requires reliable, motivated individuals with strong attention to detail and good communication. Weekend rota availability and the ability to work well as part of a team are appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting and waste disposal.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in sports, conference, accommodation and communal areas.
• Prepare rooms and facilities to a high standard for guests and visitors.
• Clean shower, changing and bathroom areas to required standards.
• Support deep cleaning activities such as carpet cleaning, descaling and window cleaning where required.
• Assist with safe cleaning stores and support colleagues with other duties across the site.

As a Housekeeper in our Bisham Abbey team, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and the local community. Your work has purpose, supporting high standards across the site and ensuring everyone enjoys a positive experience.

What you'll do as a Housekeeper

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, and waste disposal.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in sports, conference, accommodation, and communal areas.


• Prepare rooms and facilities to a high standard for guests and visitors.


• Clean shower, changing, and bathroom areas in line with required standards.


• Support deep cleaning activities, including carpet cleaning, descaling, and window cleaning where required.


• Help maintain safe cleaning stores and support colleagues with other reasonable duties across the site.

Experience working in cleaning, housekeeping, accommodation, or a similar environment.

• Reliable, motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.


• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexible approach to work, including weekend working on a rota basis.
