Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.
We operate community-based residential care settings and a network of supported living services, supporting adults over 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), and challenging behaviors. We also offer residential and nursing care for older adults with varying needs.
Located in Cockermouth, just outside the Lake District National Park, Dalton Court offers specialist nursing and dementia support for 60 adults, with 24-hour input from registered nurses. We provide end-of-life/palliative care and respite services.
The home features scenic views of the Lake District fells. Our goal is to create a homely environment where residents feel safe and cared for, while promoting independence. We encourage residents to pursue hobbies, interests, and maintain contact with their communities and loved ones.
