Set amidst secluded private grounds and breathtaking surroundings, Raemoir is committed to service excellence with its private team of staff, including chefs, providing a welcoming and indulgent atmosphere.

Role Overview

As the House Manager you will be capable of managing the house on a daily basis and overseeing the operations this prestigious estate enjoys. You will play a hands-on part in whilst leading a small team to provide a high-end hospitality experience, ensuring that every aspect of the operation is maintained to the highest standards and that the comfort and expectations of guests are continually exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

·Oversee the daily operations of the house, ensuring all services and facilities are running efficiently

·Manage a team providing guidance, training and support to maintain the highest standards of service

·Develop and implement efficient operational systems for effective management

·Assist with developing and implementing focussed marketing strategies

·Coordinate with suppliers and contractors as required

·Handle guest requirements to ensure an exceptional experience

·Assist with budgeting, financial planning and reporting

·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff

·Foster a positive and respectful working environment, promoting teamwork and communication

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role should be demonstrable and basic “life-knowledge”, abilities, an eye for detail and common sense are prerequisite!

Although a good work/life balance is enjoyed by the team this is not a position that would suit anyone with a requirement for a regular 5 days from 7, 9am - 5pm routine.
