Children's Ward at North Manchester General Hospital is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team. This is a full-time position to support the department with housekeeping duties.
We seek a person eager to work with this team, possessing excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of the Unit. The post holder will work as an integral part of the team to uphold high standards on the Unit.

You will be responsible for ensuring all medical equipment is clean and well-maintained, ordering supplies, and maintaining excellent computer records. You will also assist with obtaining patient feedback using tools like the 'What Matters To Me' tracker and the Friends and Family Test, as well as supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
You must empathize with patients and approach your duties with organization and positivity, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. The role requires the ability to cope under pressure and to utilize excellent communication and teamwork skills.
