Capital City College is seeking a Lecturer in SEND to teach and mentor students with learning disabilities in our London team. The post focuses on delivering engaging teaching, assessment, and tutoring, embedding health input and employability across curricula.

This hourly role offers professional development and a supportive environment within a diverse London learning community. The role includes report writing, regular references, and administrative duties, with DBS safeguarding requirements

Qualifications

• Provide effective teaching and assessment to students with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Develop vocational, communication and independence skills across learner programmes.
• Act as a tutor to a group of students, including report writing and liaison with health input.

Responsabilités

• Provide effective teaching and assessment to students with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Develop vocational, communication and independence skills across learner programmes.
• Organise and monitor work experience for learners.
• Contribute to administration tasks including references and reports for liaising with LAs, parents/carers and employers.
