Job summary

NHS Shetland is recruiting for a Multi-skilled Generic Support Worker in Hotel Services within Cleaning (Non-Clinical Role). The post is full-time (36 hrs/week) with varied start/finish times and occasional evenings, nights and weekends to cover leave and staffing gaps.

You will help deliver essential cleaning and support services, maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors across sites. Training is provided and PVG clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Flexible and reliable, able to work under pressure
• Willing to undertake full training and induction

Responsibilities

• Deliver cleaning and support services across NHS Shetland sites
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors
• Support across Domestic Services with flexibility and variety in daily duties
• Work predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional evenings, nights, weekends; enhanced pay for night/weekend
