A job opportunity has arisen for two candidates to join our busy Hotel Services Team at Ysbyty Cwm Cynon Hospital.
Two 15-hour positions will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Catering and Housekeeping services that meet the National Standards for NHS Wales, HIW standards 5 and 9, and Organisational Standards.
The role involves developing, maintaining, and promoting high standards of service delivery and teamwork, along with fostering open and effective communication.
Knowledge of Welsh is desirable; applications are welcome from both English and Welsh speakers.
The successful candidates will work within a restaurant and patient environment. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities include delivering catering services in accordance with departmental schedules and nutritional standards. During service pressures, candidates may be required to perform patient feeding and cleaning duties.
Flexibility is essential; candidates must adapt to service demands and modernization efforts.
Applicants should be flexible regarding movement across all Health Board sites.
Maintaining confidentiality, courtesy, and consideration for patients and colleagues is mandatory.
