Job summary

Montcalm Collection is seeking a Hotel Security Officer to safeguard guests, colleagues, and property across our London hotels. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, and respond to emergencies with a calm, professional approach while coordinating with management and emergency services.

The role requires an SIA licence (or eligibility), prior security experience in hospitality, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have an SIA licence or be eligible to obtain one.
• Experience in hospitality security is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Physically fit to stand, patrol, and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
• Operate surveillance systems and investigate suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols across hotel areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies including alarms and incidents.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify authorised personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident records and daily activity reports.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow procedures.
• Assist guests and staff during incidents with professionalism.
