Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is partnering with a privately-owned property developer and investor to recruit a Senior Project Manager with proven hotel refurbishment and conversion delivery experience in the UK. You will lead projects from feasibility to handover, manage live guest environments, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams while controlling cost, programme and quality to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering hotel refurbishment and conversion projects.
• Experience working in live hotel environments and operational constraints.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project controls and commercial management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
• Relevant degree in Construction/Project Management or Engineering.
• MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel refurbishment and conversion projects from feasibility through handover.
• Manage programmes, budgets and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
• Operate within live hospitality settings while minimising disruption to guests.
• Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure compliant, practical designs.
• Oversee procurement strategies, contractor appointments and contracts.
• Review valuations and variations while controlling commercial risk.
• Act as the main point of contact for operators, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and building regulations.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership.
