Job summary

A private property developer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead hotel refurbishment and conversion schemes across the UK. You will manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, balancing guest experience with timetable, cost and quality in live environments.

You will work with senior stakeholders, consultants and contractors to deliver schemes safely, on time and to high standards, while maintaining operational hotel performance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering hotel refurbishment and conversion projects.
• Experience working within live hospitality environments and operational constraints.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project controls and commercial management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of hotel refurbishment and conversion projects from feasibility through to handover.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee works within live hotel environments while minimising disruption to guests and operations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and ensure designs are practical and compliant.
• Manage procurement strategies, contractor appointments and building contracts.
• Review contractor valuations, variations and final accounts while controlling commercial risk.
• Act as the main point of contact for operators, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and building regulations.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior leadership.
