Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a Site-Based Project Manager to oversee a 10-week hotel external works refurbishment in Reading. The role focuses on management of external repair, façade works and coordination of subcontractors on site.

You will ensure safety, quality and programme adherence, lead site meetings, and maintain accurate progress records through effective communication with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Project Manager / Site Manager in construction.
• Experience with external refurbishment, façade or concrete repair.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project on a day-to-day basis from site.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
• Oversee external repair and façade remedial works.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings and specs.
• Manage the short-term programme and milestones.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and access requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress.
• Liaise with client, consultants and other stakeholders.
