Job summary

Royal Lancaster London is seeking a dedicated PPM Engineer to join our Engineering team on a permanent basis. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance across guest bedrooms, public areas, plant rooms, and small plant and machinery, in line with company standards.

You will respond to reactive maintenance, maintain tools and stock, and ensure health and safety standards. The role requires 40 hours per week on a shift rota, with a focus on delivering five-star service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across guest bedrooms, public areas, plant rooms, and small plant and machinery, in line with company standards.
• Respond to reactive and emergency maintenance requirements, including participation in the hotel's call-out service when required.
• Maintain and monitor maintenance tools, equipment, spare parts, and stock levels to ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all maintenance areas and activities comply with health, safety, and housekeeping standards, maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
• Attend required training and work flexibly to support uninterrupted hotel operations and deliver a high standard of service to guests.
