Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to act as the operational anchor, deputising for the General Manager and coaching Heads of Department across Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Host teams to ensure targets are smashed without compromising guest experience. You will drive the commercial engine, control costs, align payroll to revenue, and monitor KPIs to track HOD performance.

Job description

As our Hotel Operations Manager, you are the operational anchor of the entire hotel. You will deputise for the General Manager, actively coaching the Heads of Department across Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Host teams, ensuring commercial targets are smashed without ever compromising on the guest experience., As our Hotel Operations Manager, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:

• The Commercial Engine: Driving the \"Big 4\" (food costs, wet margins, energy, and payroll). You will flex payroll to align with revenue, control stock processes, and avoid relying on intuition-instead tracking quantifiable application velocity metrics and KPIs to monitor your HODs' performance.
• The People Leadership: Acting as the critical communication channel between the GM and the operational teams. You will coach, mentor, and performance manage your HODs, fostering a culture where internal promotions from Team Leader level are the absolute norm.
• The Standards: Championing our Excellence standards. You will influence the team to deliver amazing hospitality, carrying out internal audits, and ensuring ReviewPro and Mystery Dining targets are living and breathing in every single department.
