Job summary

Atlas Hotels is seeking a passionate Maintenance Technician to join our Bath team at Holiday Inn Express Bath. You’ll handle both planned and reactive maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting or plastering is advantageous, with strong organisational skills and the ability to work with colleagues and contractors to meet safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
• Trade experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is highly advantageous.
• Computer literacy for compliance and audit tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
• Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
• Manage contractors on-site when required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
• Working alongside all colleagues within Atlas
• Liaise with your Area Maintenance Manager for larger projects and refurbishments.
• Share proactive insights with the Operational, Property, and Maintenance teams to improve guest services.
