Job summary

Atlas Hotels is seeking a passionate Maintenance Technician to join the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre team. You will maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, performing both planned and reactive maintenance to keep the hotel running smoothly.

Experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is beneficial. Computer literacy is required, and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
• Trade experience in plumbing, electrical, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering.
• Computer literacy for compliance and audit tasks.
• Experience in water management compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
• Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
• Manage contractors on-site when required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with Area Maintenance Manager for larger projects and refurbishments.
• Share proactive insights with teams to improve guest services.
