Job summary

Atlas Hotels is hiring a Maintenance Technician at Holiday Inn Express Bath to keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition. Previous property maintenance experience is preferred; plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering are beneficial.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, supervise on-site contractors, and ensure safety compliance across the site, while supporting a hospitality-focused, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
• Trade experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is highly advantageous.
• Computer literacy for compliance and audit tasks.
• Experience in water management compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in the system.
• Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
• Manage contractors on-site when required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues within Atlas and liaise with Area Maintenance Manager for larger projects.
• Share proactive insights with maintenance teams to improve guest services.
