Marriott Leicester is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our world-class hotel team. You will carry out repairs, coordinate preventative maintenance, and respond to guest repair requests, while supporting energy-saving initiatives and ensuring the hotel’s physical and mechanical systems run smoothly.

You will work 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends, with an on-call rota. A plumbing or electrical qualification is an advantage but not compulsory; previous hospitality maintenance

Responsabilités

• Carrying out any repair or rectifying maintenance issues throughout the hotel as they arise.
• Coordinate rooms' preventative maintenance.
• Monitor the rooms preventative maintenance system.
• Respond to and attend guest repair requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with departments across the hotel.
• Report on new or developing engineering works to the Engineering Manager.
• Act as number 2 in the department.
• Assist with maintaining physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel (physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel.
• Assist with inventory organisation and ordering.
