Job summary

Alexander Hotels Group is recruiting a Group Maintenance Assistant and Painter to support the onsite maintenance teams across its five luxury hotels in the South of England. You will report to the Operations Director and coordinate with General Managers to prioritise tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.

The role requires versatility in trades, a proactive approach to safety, and the ability to travel to Guildford and Egham locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest/customer environment beneficial.
• Ability to travel between hotels in Guildford and Egham.
• Basic maintenance trades knowledge across plumbing/electrical/painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance tasks from the daily list to meet priority needs.
• Carry out pool plant, basic plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry tasks as required.
• Perform painting/decorating with attention to preparation, finish quality, and safety.
