Job summary

Millennium Hotels & Resorts in Dudley seeks aMaintenance Manager to lead a busy maintenance department. You will plan reactive and preventative work, coordinate safety, and manage repairs across hotel areas, with a focus on customer service and reliability.

The role requires a self-motivated, proactive approach, strong team coordination, and the ability to work independently. On-call rotas and flexible patterns form part of the job, with preference for electrical/plumbing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, proactive maintenance experience in a hotel environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• Flexibility for on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Planning all reactive and preventative maintenance schedules as required by internal processes and ensuring daily utility readings.
• Ensure the team works safely, complying with health and safety regulations including fire procedures, manual handling, chemical usage and disposal of waste (COSHH).
• Oversee upkeep of hotel areas to minimise wear and tear, coordinating painting, decorating and refurbishment as required.
• Develop good working relationships with other departments and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Participate in and coordinate the out of hours on-call rota as hotel needs change.
• Fully qualified electrician and/or plumber is preferable for related tasks.
