Job summary

Novotel London Wembley is a leading hotel seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering and facilities team, ensuring safe, reliable operations and guest comfort.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building systems, drive preventative maintenance, manage budgets, and champion Health & Safety and sustainability initiatives across the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum A-Level or Level 3 Technical Qualification.
• Proven experience as Maintenance Manager or Chief Engineer in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of building services, M&E systems, and hotel operations.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UK Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
• Manage hotel facilities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety.
• Deliver a proactive preventative maintenance programme to maximise asset performance.
• Oversee contractors, inspections, and testing.
• Manage budgets, projects, and procurement.
• Champion Health & Safety, Security, and environmental compliance.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and support environmental targets.
• Participate in leadership team and Duty Manager responsibilities when required.
