Vertiq Hospitality Partners B.V. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant in London, Bayswater.

In this hands‑on role, you will join the Maintenance & Engineering team to ensure smooth hotel operation, safety standards, and top condition of guest rooms and public areas. You will perform routine and reactive maintenance, assist contractors, and help manage tools and inventory while working a shift pattern that includes weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general building maintenance, trade work, or hotel facility operations.
• Good working knowledge of painting.
• Good working knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, plaster repairs, and minor electrical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Routine maintenance across guest rooms, corridors, reception and back‑of‑house areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests logged via operations system and front desk.
• Assist with health, safety and fire safety checks (testing emergency lighting, water temperature monitoring).
• Assist external maintenance contractors and support refurbishment/repair projects.
• Keep maintenance workshop spaces clean and ensure tools and spare parts inventory is maintained.
