Job summary

The Alexander Hotel Collection is seeking a Linen Porter for Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa near London. The role involves stocking linen, assisting housekeeping, and ensuring guest areas stay spotless.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with no back problems.
• Energetic and guest-aware team player.
• Experience with safe lifting techniques.
• Smart, well-presented and attentive to guests.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen cupboards with sheets, pillowcases, duvets and towels.
• Strip beds on busy days for housekeeping to remake with clean linen.
• Clear dirty linen from bedrooms and corridors.
• Operate in-house laundry machines.
• Count and bag linen for laundry partner to collect.
• Count and unpack laundry delivered daily, pull out reject linen.
• Sort reject linen in stock from circulation.
