Job summary

Premier Inn in Wolverhampton is seeking a Kitchen Team Member on a fixed-term contract. You’ll work 30 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends, at Broad Gauge Way, Wolverhampton. Pay is up to £13.06 per hour, with training and team support from day one.

No hotel experience is required; many of our team join from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, or retail. If you’re reliable and enjoy teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed term contract with an end date of 01/12/2026

Hours: 30 contracted hours per week.

Location: Broad Gauge Way, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV10 0BA

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
