Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Uttoxeter. You will help prepare, cook and present meals for guests, including breakfast and dinner service, while keeping the kitchen organized and stocked. This position offers a permanent contract with guaranteed hours and 20 hours per week.

No hotel experience is required; training is provided. You may have come from supermarkets, cafés, pubs or retail, and we value reliability, teamwork and a hands-on attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is not required.
• You may be new to kitchens, and we will teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Team Member - Uttoxeter Premier Inn

This isn't just about cooking.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you'll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Uttoxeter Premier Inn - Derby Road, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 5AA

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you'll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you'll help make sure every guest gets a meal they'll enjoy. You'll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don't need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don't mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
