Job summary

Premier Inn Uttoxeter is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests during their stay. You’ll join a busy, friendly kitchen and contribute to meals guests rely on during their visit.

You don’t need hotel experience; we welcome reliable, team-oriented people who enjoy working with others and are happy to roll up sleeves when busy. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours and training provided.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and take on kitchen duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service

• Receive deliveries and manage stock properly
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking presentable

Kitchen Team Member - Uttoxeter Premier Inn

This isn't just about cooking.

You'll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone's stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you'll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Uttoxeter Premier Inn - Derby Road, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 5AA

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you'll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you'll help make sure every guest gets a meal they'll enjoy. You'll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don't need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don't mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
