Job summary

Premier Inn in Oldham Broadway is seeking a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests, with mornings and evenings as part of a busy kitchen.

No hotel experience required; you’ll be taught the rest. This permanent role offers 25 hours per week, guaranteed hours, and opportunities to learn kitchen skills, food safety, and teamwork.

Kitchen Team Member Oldham (Broadway) Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Pay: Up to £17k per year

Hours: 25 contracted hours per week.

Location: Broadway, Chadderton, Oldham, Lancashire, OL9 8DW

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
