Job summary

Premier Inn Inverness Centre (Millburn Rd) is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for 30 contracted hours per week. The role pays up to £13.06 per hour and mainly covers evenings (4pm–11pm) with shifts including weekends during busy guest periods. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that contribute to guests’ stays.

This role is suitable if you enjoy teamwork and delivering meals on time. Training is provided and no prior hotel experience is required.

We're currently recruiting in our Inverness Centre (Millburn Rd) location. Working 30 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay:

Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:

Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours:

30 contracted hours per week. (Mainly Evenings working between 4pm - 11pm)

Location:

Millburn Road, Inverness, Scotland, IV2 3QX

Shifts:

Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This doesn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
