Job summary

Premier Inn Inverness Centre on Millburn Rd is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests, from breakfast rush to evening service, while keeping the kitchen clean and stocked.

You’ll work closely with hotel staff to ensure smooth service and deliver meals guests will enjoy. This role suits reliable team players who don’t mind busy shifts, with evenings, weekends and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.
• Hospitality or related experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Kitchen Team Member – Inverness Centre (Millburn Rd) Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 30 contracted hours per week. (Mainly Evenings working between 4pm - 11pm)

Location: Millburn Road, Inverness, Scotland, IV2 3QX

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
