Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for Winchester. Earn up to £13.06 per hour on a fixed-term contract (12 hours per week) at Winchester Premier Inn on Easton Lane. You’ll prepare ingredients, cook meals for breakfast and dinner, and help manage stock and deliveries as part of a busy team.

No hotel experience is required; we’ll teach you the rest. If you’re reliable and enjoy teamwork, this role could be for you.

• No hotel experience required; suitable for those from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop kitchen skills.
• Reliability and ability to work well in a busy team.

Kitchen Team Member – Winchester Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed-term until 31/01/2027 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 12 contracted hours per week.

Location: Winchester Premier Inn - Easton Lane, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 7RT

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
