Whitbread PLC's Premier Inn Llantrisant is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen daily, manage rotas, place orders, and lead the team through busy services with audit-ready standards. You’ll work closely with the Hotel Manager to own kitchen operations, food quality, hygiene, and training.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for cooks aiming to advance to Head Chef. The role offers 30 hours per week at up to £14.31 per hour, with training, apprenticeship options, and Whitbread

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and food costs for the hotel.
• Lead during service: organise the team, manage workflow, ensure smooth running.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu to spec, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure kitchen meets health, safety and hygiene standards and keep records up to date.
• Step up when needed: run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management basics to progress to more senior roles.

Kitchen Team Leader – Llantrisant Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn Llantrisant as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands‑on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

PAY RATE:

Up to £14.31 per hour

HOURS:

30 hours per week
