Job summary

Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre is hiring a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen operations, including rostering, stock control and daily service. You will lead a team, ensure food quality and hygiene, and work closely with the Hotel Manager to drive performance.

The role is 40 hours per week on a permanent contract, with a view to developing into more senior kitchen leadership. Training and benefits are provided, including staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing rota schedules.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to place orders, control costs and maintain audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keeping food costs on track for the entire hotel.
• Take the lead during service – organising the team, managing workflow, ensuring smooth operation.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specification, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records are kept up to date.
• Step up when needed – run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Develop kitchen management skills to progress to senior roles.

We're currently recruiting in our Harrogate Town Centre Premier Inn. Working 40 hours per week, paying up to £14.31 per hour.

Kitchen Team Leader – Harrogate Town Centre Premier Inn
