Job summary

Premier Inn Basildon (East Mayne) is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen, manage rotas and place orders. You’ll lead a team through busy services, ensure quality and hygiene, and work closely with the Hotel Manager on daily operations.

You’ll develop your leadership skills with a clear path toward Head Chef, while maintaining audit-ready standards and delivering great breakfasts and pub classics.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience scheduling rosters and managing workloads during busy services.
• Ability to monitor food quality and maintain high hygiene standards.

Kitchen Team Leader – Basildon (East Mayne) Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn Basildon (East Mayne) as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands‑on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

PAY RATE:

Up to £14.31 per hour

HOURS:

30 hours per week
