Job summary

Kellan Group is seeking a Hotel Assistant Accountant for a branded hotel in Belfast. You will support the Finance Manager with month-end, financial reporting and maintaining strong controls across the group finance function.

The role involves journals, accruals, balance sheet work, revenue reconciliation and collaboration with hotel operations to ensure timely financial information. Training and development are offered within a growing hotel group.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have solid experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Experience with monthly management accounts and financial reporting is essential.
• Ability to support audits and maintain robust financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Manager with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
• Post journals, accruals and prepayments accurately.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee revenue reconciliations and cash/Bank control accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable, supplier invoices and payment runs.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and prepare audit schedules.
