Job summary

Camden Town Hotel is seeking a dedicated Facilities Porter to support daily hotel operations. You will assist with linen, deliveries, stock, furniture, and general housekeeping while collaborating with Facilities, Maintenance and hotel teams.

The role involves routine checks, fault reporting and basic repairs, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. Prior experience in a hotel or facilities setting is helpful, and comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Move and distribute linen, stock, supplies, furniture and equipment around the hotel.
• Support housekeeping and other departments with delivery and collection of items.
• Keep storage areas and service spaces clean, tidy and organised.
• Perform routine checks of public areas and report faults or hazards.
• Carry out basic repairs and upkeep tasks, including light bulb changes and painting touch-ups.
• Assist with safe movement of furniture and equipment.
• Support Facilities or Maintenance teams and contractors when needed.
• Respond professionally to guest and colleague requests.
• Follow health and safety, fire safety and manual handling procedures.
• Report accidents or maintenance concerns to the manager.
