Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Site-Based Project Manager for a 10-week hotel external works project in Reading. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and progress against the programme.

The role focuses on exterior repair, façade remediation and concrete works, requiring strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to lead on-site decisions across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven PM/Site Manager experience in construction.
• Experience managing external refurbishment, façade, concrete repair or remedial works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site management and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project on a day-to-day basis from site.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
• Oversee external concrete repair and façade remedial works.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and standards.
• Manage the short-term programme and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and access requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and progress.
• Liaise with client, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation.
• Ensure health & safety requirements and site procedures are followed.
• Monitor project costs and minimise delays or disruption.
• Attend and lead site meetings; provide progress updates.
