Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Cluster Maintenance Assistant for Clayton Hotel City of London and Clayton Hotel London Wall. The role includes managing daily maintenance requests and performing preventative tasks to uphold safety and service standards.

You will train through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities for internal growth within a friendly team across our UK properties.

Qualifications

• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in trades such as painting, plumbing or construction desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented and standards-driven.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in working hours required.
• Good command of English.
• Flexibility to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workload effectively responding to reactive maintenance requests.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative routines (e.g., painting, mastic).
• Investigate and resolve equipment and control system issues.
• Assist Cluster Maintenance Manager resolving defects in hotel systems.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments.
• Ensure maintenance work meets professional and safety standards.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
