Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations across our hospitality properties in the UK. You will perform essential maintenance tasks, respond to requests, and help keep facilities in good condition.

Experience in trades such as painting, plumbing, or construction is desirable, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The role requires flexibility in hours and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
• Experience in trades such as painting, plumbing, or construction are desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks.
• Detail-oriented and standards-driven.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
• Good command of English.
• Flexibility to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workload effectively responding to reactive maintenance requests.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative routines in mastic, painting.
• Assist the Cluster Maintenance Manager to investigate and resolve equipment and control system issues.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments.
• Ensure maintenance work meets professional and safety standards.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
