Job summary

EF BournemouthInternational Language Campus is seeking a proactive Homestay Recruitment Coordinator to visit and assess homestay providers, guide onboarding, and ensure safeguarding compliance, creating a welcoming experience for international students.

The role offers flexible hours with availability seven days a week. You will support the homestay community, manage paperwork, and help place students with welcoming providers in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with external clients such as host families, students, and colleagues.
• Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised.
• Complete fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Visiting and assessing homestay providers with a strong focus on compliance.

Your Role

EF BournemouthInternational Language Campus is seeking a proactive and personable individual to join our homestay/host family recruitment team as a Homestay Recruitment Coordinator visiting and connecting international students with welcoming homestay providers.

In this role, you'll visit and assess providers, guide them through onboarding and ensure safeguarding compliance – all while helping to create a welcoming, ‘home away from home’ experience for our international students.

Responsibilities

• Visiting and assessing homestay providers and completing paperwork (a strong focus on compliance)
• Liaising with our existing homestay community and handling enquiries
• Matching international students with providers and assisting in placements
• Participating in EF events
• Following up with newly collected paperwork and entering information into a database
• Keeping homestay database up-to-date

Requirements

• Highly motivated,energeticand positive with a sociable and outgoing personality
• Friendly and approachable manner, not afraid to speak to strangers
• Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
• Excellent communicator with external clients such as host families, students, and colleagues
• A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
• Complete fluency in English
• Access to a car essential
